Memorial Park:
Nyack, NY

When I was growing up, whenever we wanted to go to a park near the Hudson River, we went to Memorial Park. Since then, I discovered many other beautiful spots along the Hudson River. I didn’t go back to Memorial Park for over 10 years.

Recently, I decided to see what the park is like from an adult perspective. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! The park was redone. It is extremely enjoyable for children of all ages. There are four sprinklers near the playground and a beautiful pier built for fishing and viewing the Hudson River. There is also a boat launch and big playing fields with baseball, basketball, and tennis courts. There is a beautiful view of the Tappan Zee Bridge as well.
