Before we visited Safari Niagara, I assumed the Safari was of the traditional kind, with animals wandering about. That is not what Safari Niagara is, but we had an amazing day in a different way.
Don’t get me wrong, there were plenty of animals spread throughout the park, just not roaming between people. There are big animals such as lions, leopards, giraffes tigers and zebras, just to mention few. There are many exotic birds and the Monkeys are very popular. The cute narrated train-like gator shaped tram that circles the safari makes it easier to get from one area to the next. Safari Niagara offers behind the scene tours of with the giraffes, lions and rhinos for an additional fee. There is also a farm area for kids to enjoy. A picnic lunch can be enjoyed with the many picnic tables near the food court.
Kids and even adults have so many activities to do scattered throughout the park. There is a ropes course, splash pad, playground, carousel, pedal bikes as well as paddle boats. The activities are all included in admission.
