The Stadspark, fondly nicknamed by the locals as the Cholent Park (due to the large number of people visiting on Shabbos afternoon after the Cholent), is a large triangle shaped park located in the heart of Antwerp. Each of the three sides of the park border on a different street. Each side features a Belgian themed historic and/or cultural monument sculpture. One of the corners features a large war Memorial sculpture.
The lake at Stadspark is a prominent feature of the park with walking/biking paths around it with many benches along the route. The paths lead in many different directions and crisscross through the park.
There are lots of trees and bushes which make a big part of the park nice and shady.
The park has a great playground set on beach sand which seems to be popular with the local children. Adjacent to the main playground is a large climbing structure and a skateboard park just behind that.
