The Brooklyn Bridge Park is tremendous! It begins right near the bottom of The Brooklyn Bridge and continues until Pier 6.

On a recent trip to Brooklyn we decided to finally stop at one of the many playgrounds and check it out. We stopped at the playground by Pier 6.

The park is beautifully designed. One area, Swing Valley, has many types of swings. The Slide Mountain area has large slides built into what appears to be manmade rocky hills. T there is also a large climbing structure. The landscaping all around and between the different sections of the playground is very pretty. Right near the Slide Mountain is Sandbox Village with fun elements to play in the sand. Just behind the playground area is a walking path alongside the Hudson River connecting the many areas of the park.
