Pathway Park:
Seattle, WA

We kept passing Pathway Park as we were staying nearby when we visited Seattle. The beautifully renovated playground in this neighborhood park caught our eye and we decided to visit one afternoon.  Located right on Sand Point Way tucked between the neighborhood houses, the park has lots of fun elements at the playground. There is a great climbing structure in the center made mostly of logs, fun slides come down a small hill near the rope climb and cave, a variety of swings and large rocking swings. The play area is carpeted with a synthetic grass so it is soft. There is a picnic shelter with picnic tables and grill stations. The merry-go-round and sand/water play area are located near the picnic shelter.

The park is beautifully landscaped with benches and picnic tables in many places. There is a skate park and paved walking paths. The paths connect to the middle of the of the long Burke-Gillman Trail.
