Alki Beach Park:
Seattle, WA

After completing our Kayak Tour of the Elliot Bay with Alki Kayak Tours we headed over to Alki Beach Park.

Alki Beach Park is a long beach strip with paved pathways and grassy areas running behind it. Alki Beach Park is a popular area for locals and visitors to walk, bike, or just lazy around by the water. We watched some people enjoy riding surreys that were rented nearby.

There are picnic tables scattered throughout Alki Beach Park and the views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains are beautiful.

The water temperature is generally cold (46-56 degrees Fahrenheit) so there aren’t many people swimming in the water but there are many people sunbathing and enjoying the beach sand.
