We took the Super Chatel cable car up to Chatel Adventures ropes course in the trees right near the station. There are seven adventure courses to scale at Chatel Adventures. There is a course for toddlers and small children (age 2-4 and with a height up to 1m05) accompanied by an adult and there are two courses for children ages 5-8 (Height needs to be between 1m05 and 1m35). The young children get to enjoy the same climbing experience with fun elements at a lower height.
The staff was very friendly, patient and helpful. They harnessed everyone and explained how the trolley system operates. They were especially patient with the little ones and helped them whenever they needed.
The four Super Parc Courses includes four levels of difficulty with many fun climbing elements to scale. The views all around the course seen from between the trees are breathtaking! (Children between 1m35 and 1m50 tall must be accompanied by an adult). The blue and red levels are easier and the black and Super Black offer more difficult challenges.
There are many elements that we’ve seen at other ropes courses and other elements that were new to us. I addition to the climbing there are some zip lines and a platform for the daring ones to jump off on a freefall.
Both the young children and the teens really enjoyed the challenge. Once in the trees, we went from level to level enjoying the variety of climbing elements and redoing levels we enjoyed, until it was time for closing.
