There is nothing like the feeling of flying over the mountains and enjoying the magnificent views all around. The Fantasticable was the first time I rode a zipline flat on my stomach. The zipline felt very secure and was a relaxing ride.

We took the Pierre Longue chairlift from Pre La Joux to the Fantasticable station (the chairlift ticket is included with the zipline ticket). The Rochassons chairlift from Plaine Dranse is another way to get to the station.

When we got to the station we were fitted with our harnesses and helmets. Everyone was weighed to make sure we can fly (weight must be between 35 and 120 kg per person). Once we had our gear on we were led to the first cable. we were hooked up in a hanging position. We were told to put our hands at our sides and as soon as we were ready and the signal was given from the landing port the attendant let go and we were off. Flying. Flying 1200 meters across the mountain at almost 100 km an hour over the over the hamlet of Plaine-Dranse  reaching up to 240 meters high. The views all around were incredible! Since the harness felt secure we were able to enjoy the views while flying. When we landed the best part was that we were able to fly another time this time on a 1325 meter cable. The second time around we knew what to expect and were able to enjoy it even more. Two of us flew on our own and two went together on a duo flight. At the second landing we walked down the road for 10 minutes until we reached the chairlift station and made our way down all the while rehashing our amazing flight.
