Little Sightseeing Train:
Châtel, France

The Little Sightseeing Train departed from the Town Square 3 times until noon and again twice in the afternoon when we were in Chatel. I thought I was riding the train in order to give my little boys the thrill of riding a “choo choo train.” The train is free to ride with a valid multipass, I figured what could we lose.

I was really pleasantly surprised. The train ride takes an hour with the train driving through most of the Village looping back on a different route. It drives through the main roads, it passes the lake, it drives on side quiet roads and even into some side narrow roads higher up in the village with beautiful unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains. The Little Sightseeing Train is a relaxing way to see Chatel with it’s beautiful views.
