We spent a very enjoyable Shabbos at the end of the winter in the rustic and charming Melour Resort in Tannersville, NY. The Melour is just a few minutes’ drive from Hunter Mountain an area with beautiful nature and lots of activities.

The Melour Resort consists of three buildings. The main building, with its striking pink color, and large wraparound porch gives off a relaxing and inviting vibe.   When entering the recently renovated lobby the friendly and helpful staff welcome the guests at check-in. Just beyond the lobby is the dining area. The Melour offers a fully catered Glatt Kosher experience (Hechsher is Tarnopol.) with three tasty meals served every day. The Living Room, with its tall ceilings, new armchairs, fireplace and a small indoor waterfall is a popular area for family and friends to sit and spend time in. The tea room is located just up the steps from the living room.

There is so much to keep families busy on site. The indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna are magnificent. With tall ceilings and palm trees decorating the room.  There is also an outdoor pool for use in the summer. The fitness center and the indoor playroom with the large trampoline, moonwalk, riding toys, doll carriages, games and a few arcades keep the children busy regardless of the weather outside.

When the weather is nice the outdoor grounds offer so much. There’s lots of outdoor seating areas and an outdoor fire pit. The grassy areas and outdoor playground are popular with the kids.

The Melour is a great option for a warm family friendly experience where you don’t need to shlep your own food or be busy entertaining the kids. Just check in and enjoy your relaxing stay.
