Morzine is a ski resort town located in the French Alps. The first thing that struck me when driving into Morzine was the large Pedestrian Bridge in the center of town adjacent to the cable cars which continues up to Super Morzine. Morzine is a scenic town with an indoor and outdoor sports center with views of the surrounding mountains. The flowing Dranse de Morzine River runs through the town adding to the beauty. By the time we finished skating we only had time to walk across the pedestrian bridge.

We drove to Morzine from Chatel on an overcast day to enjoy the indoor ice skating in the sports complex in Morzine.

The drive took us about an hour but if we would’ve taken the chairlifts connecting one mountain to another it would probably have taken much shorter.
