Mystic Aquarium:
Mystic, Connecticut

Mystic Aquarium is amazing. Every exhibit is special. It is beautifully laid out partially indoors and partially outdoors. The Beluga Whale is definitely the most exciting animal. It is the first time that I’ve seen whales at an aquarium. The penguins were also a hit. It was really interesting watching them being fed.

The Main Gallery, located indoors, has a lot to show. There are different types of Jelly Fish, Coral Reef, sting rays, sharks and a variety of interesting sea creatures. There are touch stations where visitors can touch stingrays and baby sharks.

The Sea Lion Show is a fun interactive show featuring California Sea Lions. It is definitely a big highlight worth planning your visit around. The Mystic Aquarium also has a 4D Theater and shows play there all day. The Encounters program enables visitors to get close up with sea lions, seals, penguins and whales for an additional fee.

The Mystic Aquarium is located in a rustic town just a few minutes from the Mystic Seaport. Combination tickets to the aquarium and seaport can be purchased for a discount.
