We were lucky not to have many rainy days during our trip to the French Alps. There aren’t many indoor attractions in the area and when it rains and is overcast visiting mountains with compromised views, if any at all, is not the best option. We decided to head out to the indoor ice rink in Morzine. It seemed like everyone in the area had the same idea (maybe because of the discounted rate they offer with the multipass.) The 56×26 meter rink was very full but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves regardless. The cute animal skate assists were really enjoyed by the children.

The ice rink is located in the sports complex in Morzine right below the cable car station. The sports comples includes outdoor tennis courts, basketball courts, a bike course and swimming pools.

During the winter there is an outdoor ice rink open there as well.
