Warren G. Magnuson Park:
Seattle, WA

I kept noticing the large green space marked as Warren G. Magnuson Park when looking for someplace to stay in the University area in Seattle. The 350-acre park features many walking trails (more than 4 miles) on the shore of Lake Washington. There is a swimming beach, boat launch, sports fields and many grassy. There are a number of picnic tables near the water and enjoyed a picnic supper there one evening.

There is a beautiful new large play area that they are planning on adding to the park. When we visited it was not ready yet.
