The Amsterdamse Bos is a very large wooded area of 2,500 acres with biking paths leading all throughout the meadows and wooded areas. There are a variety activities available within the park.

There is our all-time favorite; the Geitenboerderij goat farm with a playground, café and farm animals, especially goats to interact with. Canoe or paddle boat rentals are also very popular. There are Segway tours, the Bosbus – an electric bus which offers transportation through the forest on Sundays. The Museum Tram or ferry are great ways to get to the forest.  There is a children’s pool and Fun Forest which offers a climbing course and zip line. Stand up paddle boarding is a new activity offered now at the Bos. The Amsterdamse Bos is one of our favorite destinations in Amsterdam.
