Atlantic City, NJ

The Atlantic City Boardwalk is distinguished as the oldest and longest boardwalk.  The 4-mile-long boardwalk was opened in 1870. There are many hotels, casinos, restaurants, and shops all located right by the Boardwalk. The Boardwalk has many entrances to the beaches.

There are also a number of attractions located right on the Boardwalk such as the Steel Pier Amusement Park, Central Pier Arcade & Speedway, Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, Atlantic City Miniature Golf, the Island Waterpark at Showboat  as well as bike and Surrey Rentals.

We stayed at the Showboat Hotel right by the Boardwalk on Fall. We enjoyed walking on the Boardwalk and  the convenient access to the beach.
