We really enjoyed walking around the Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens in Stamford, CT. There are 13 gardens and many woodland walking trails spread over 93 acres of parkland. The Gardens are pretty and informative. We started out at the Sensory Garden which has sections highlighting flowers and plants associated with each of the senses. We crossed over to the Garden Paths and enjoyed a walk through the beautifully landscaped areas.
Next, we headed to the shady playground area with play structures and picnic tables built with the wood from trees.
We only visited a small part of the property. We didn’t get to the pond and stream and the trails in that area but we did enjoy a serene day strolling between the gardens and enjoying the beautiful landscaping.
