Whenever I drive on the Cross Island Parkway I can’t help but admire the view of the Little Neck Bay. I always look on enviously as people bike, jog or just stroll on the walkway along the Bay next to the Bayside Marina. Last time I passed by I decided to pull off the exit at the parking lot by the Bayside Marina (just beyond the pedestrian bridge which crosses over the Cross Island Expressway).
We parked at the Bayside Marina and followed the path on the right along the water. There were people walking, biking and running on the path. We saw many benches on the path to sit and enjoy the views.
We didn’t go very far down the path, but we sat down to enjoy the view before turning back and heading home.
When we passed the left side of the Marina, it seemed to continue until the Little Bay Park.

I’m trying to find that pedestrian bridge that crosses over the Cross Island Parkway. I must be in a fog, because I walk around the area, near Bell Blvd., and can’t find that bridge. I don’t know who’s reading this, if anyone, but does anyone know what avenue to walk along from Bell Blvd if I’m on foot?
