Celery Farm Preserve:
Allendale, NJ

When we went to Celery Farm Preserve, we could not find the parking lot at first. It is a small dirt area on the side of the road, with a sign posted near the entrance.  The parking lot is across the street from 509 Franklin Turnpike.

Once we finally found the path to the preserve, we were taken by the natural beauty found in the 107 acre freshwater wetland preserve. There is a beautiful dirt path surrounding the lake. There are many different types of wildlife that reside within the Preserve. When we visited, we spotted turtles, deer, storks, and many other types of birds.

Celery Farm is a relaxing and quiet place to walk and enjoy untouched natural beauty.
