We were afraid that the local bowling alleys would be too full during winter break so we decided to look for one more out of the area. That is when we came across Colonial Lanes on the map.

Colonial Lanes in Chester, NY, located in the Chester Mall (a strip mall just minutes away from the Legoland Resort due to open shortly in Goshen, NY).

The bowling alley was quiet on that Sunday afternoon. Each lane has a thick plastic divider hanging to keep it separate from the next lane as a Covid19 precaution. The place was very clean with half the lanes on one side and the other half on the opposite wall.

There were some great features at Colonial Lanes such as bumpers going up and down based on the player. Colonial Lanes also has little green slides to aid the young ones that need help with rolling the balls.

Food and drinks can be ordered at the concession counter and birthday parties can be celebrated in the party room with different birthday package options.
