Estes Park was high on my “to do list” this past summer when we went to Colorado. With it being only and hour and twenty minute drive from Denver, we definitely wanted to do day trips to the area. The pretty town located at the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park has many attractions and an Aerial Tram located right in town that transports visitors right up to Prospect Mountain’s Summit. I really wanted to ride up there but when we visited during August, 2020 but it was not operational due to Covid19. On our way to Rocky Mountain National Park we did pass through Estes Park with the beautiful lakes and the town seemed to have many tourists walking the streets but since many attractions weren’t open we didn’t return to Estes Park on another day. I definitely would want to visit Estes Park if I do return to Colorado at a later date.
