When planning my trip to Nashville, TN I noticed that it was very close to Kentucky and there seemed to be some interesting things to visit in Kentucky not too far. As I was checking the map for things to do in Southern Kentucky I came across the Fork In the Road, quite literally.
The large 680-pound steel fork stands tall and proud at a crossroads amidst the vast farmland in Franklin, KY. It is a fun and quirky place to stop and get some funny pictures. The fork was created by Simpson High School’s welding class and was placed at the spot in Franklin in 2018.
It was worth going a few minutes out of our way in order to see this unusual Fork in the Road!
