We were heading down South Franklin Street on our bikes heading to the Mario Cuomo Bridge Pathway. We passed Franklin Street Park and it caught my eye. Although it is not very large, Franklin Street Park includes some great elements.  There is a basketball court, a tennis court, picnic tables, a gazebo, a gated in playground with new equipment with a firehouse theme. Outside of the enclosed playground are two metal climbing structures as well.
