Goldschein’s Homestead is an all-around farm with a large variety of activities spread throughout the spacious grounds. What struck me during my visit was that every age found something of interest.
The large petting zoo is what we stopped at first upon entering the farm. There were cows, goats, sheep, ducks, chickens just to name a few. We enjoyed feeding the animals vegetables that are for sale there. The many riding toys and play tractors caught the little one’s attention and they enjoyed playing with them and driving them around. Adjacent to the animals is the Steam Rollers where everyone really enjoyed racing each other while inside the large metal circles rolling along the path.
Near the Farm House is a bubble station, some wooden swings, a ping pong table, hammocks and magnificent views of the surrounding areas.
After enjoying those activities, we continued past the bulls to the Puppy Play. We booked a 20-minute time slot (additional charge for the Puppy Experience) to enter the Puppy cages and play with the Puppies. The Puppy Experience was a real hit. The children loved holding and petting the puppies. It was a great way to interact with puppies in a calm setting.
The corn pit was enjoyed by the younger children while the older ones enjoyed the nearby basketball court. Goldschein’s also has a variety of inflatable slides and bounce houses to play on.
Right in the center of the farm is a Kosher Food Court with pizza, fries, slush and more for sale. The food can be enjoyed by one of the many tables under the adjacent tent.
On Sundays in the summer Goldstein’s Homestead hosts events and shows for the guests weekly.
