High Park is a large park with a lot to do. There are many fields and pathways along with the beautiful Grandier Pond. The tennis courts and baseball and soccer fields are there for those who enjoy those sports. There are gardens that are landscaped attractively and nature paths that go through the forest. The Trackless train offers 30 minute scenic rides in the spring and summertime for a minimal fee.

Children also have lots to do at High Park. There are a couple of playgrounds including the popular castle themed play structures. The High Park Zoo is a free zoo with both domestic and exotic animals there.

In the winter there is an outdoor artificial ice rink and cross country skiing is permitted in the park.
