JH Adventure Rentals has a variety of watercraft to rent in 2 locations. There is no transportation from the town of Jackson to Jackson Lake in GTNP and we were unprepared. We were envious of all the watercraft but couldn’t rent anything because we didn’t have a way to transport it. We also hadn’t booked anything in the parks in advance since because of COVID, we didn’t know if we would be travelling until the last minute. JH Adventure Rentals has a second location 30 miles south of Jackson near the Palisades Reservoir. The reservoir sits at the end of the Snake River Canyon, surrounded by over 70 miles of shoreline.  They supply life-jackets and you can add additional items such as water skis, wake-boards, knee boards, surf boards and tubes can be added to your rental.

We rented a jet ski for half day and kept on switching off every half hour or so, while the rest of us waiting at the beach by the Blowout Boat Launch which was actually in Idaho.

They also do ATV tours or rent ATVs and go on your own.
