There is something uplifting and almost magical at the grave of Reb Elimelech of Lizensk. The electrifying feeling of positivity and inspiration, that whatever you pray for will be resolved is contagious.
There is a white house/Ohel built around the Kever of Reb Elimelech within the Jewish Cemetery making it more comfortable to pray during all types of weather. Many people flock to pray at the kever of Reb Elimelech as a result of the Rebbe’s promise that whoever prays at his grave will have his prayers answered.
Lizensk is not near any of the major Polish cities. The closest main city is Krakow at a distance of two hours. The most amazing thing is that if you do get to Lizensk they offer the most amazing hospitality. I was blown away by the free food they have set up in the hospitality center right near the cemetery. When we came, there was hot soup, rolls, salad and spreads as well cake, coffee and tea. There are constant minyanim in the hospitality center and it seems there are even overnight accommodations available there.
