I was recently in Stamford, CT for the weekend. Since Stamford is on the Shore of the Long Island Sound, I thought it would be nice to go to the water on Sunday. However, I did not want to go to a full swimming beach. Thankfully, we discovered the Kosciuszko Park (don’t ask me how to pronounce it!). The 7-acre waterfront peninsula park has a playground, a big gazebo with picnic tables, and athletic fields. There is a scenic path along the perimeter of the park, near the water. We really spent an enjoyable afternoon there.
