Milton A. Votee Park
Teaneck, NJ

Whenever I am in Teaneck and pass the park, I so much want to stop. The 40 acre park within the city catches the attention of everyone that passes. This park is huge!

There are courts for just about every type of ball you can imagine: paddle ball, tennis, basketball and baseball. It is not uncommon to see games of baseball happening as family members cheer on the players. There is also an outdoor pool on premises.

I think there are three playgrounds. One very large playground, one smaller playground all the way across the park past the ball fields, and a third play area in a quieter section near the picnic tables. They recently added many more tables near the large playground and there is also a new splash pad for children to enjoy.

The picnic tables are located in a shaded are closer to Queen Anne Road. There is also a walking path parallel to the road.

The park is generally full of people having a great time. If crowds are not your thing, you can always look for a quieter area somewhere else around the huge park.
