About this time last year my nephew got married in Montreal. His wedding was on a Monday so I arrived Sunday night to leave a little time to see some sights in Montreal.

Monday morning we headed out to the Parc Olympique Tower of Montreal to see Montreal from above. When we got to the parking toll booth the fellow told us that it is closed. On Monday official sightseeing places and museums are closed.

Plan #2. We headed down to the port. I was told by many people that there are a variety of activities to do at the pier. What do you know, everything was closed. Most things were only open on weekends since summer was over. We drove around looking for something interesting to do without luck. We ended up giving up and heading to the pizza shop for lunch and then went to a local playground, found in abundance all over the city.

The next day before we left we went to the attractions we’d planned on visiting.
