Segway is definitely how I would recommend getting to see Myrtle Beach. There are three options of where to glide. We took the Segway by the hour and rode around the beautiful Market Common District (Segways are not allowed in the shopping area only around it). We got instructions of how to operate the Segway. After getting acquainted we were on our own. We got to enjoy all the nearby sites including the Warbird Park and Grand Park with the scenic lake and many different playgrounds – all the in one hour.
There are also options of joining a Segway Tour either to North Myrtle Beach Park or Huntington Beach State Park. I haven’t visited North Myrtle Beach Park but I can definitely vouch for Huntington Beach State Park with its most magnificent natural beauty and wildlife. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to maximize their time in Myrtle Beach since it is a combination of Segway, which is fun, and the beauty of nature. There are lots of interesting birds and turtles at the park. During the warmer months alligators are often seen at the park during the two hour tour.
