Nomahegan Park:
Cranford, NJ

We were looking for a good park to get together with family somewhere between Lakewood, Monsey and Brooklyn. Nomahegan Park was the perfect choice. Nomahegan Park is part of a large web of parks in the Springfield area connecting to each other.

The park has walking paths which also circle the small lake.  The playground has a beautiful new  climbing structure with large slides  spreading in different directions. There is a separate climbing structure for the small children and also swings.

Extending past the playground are grassy fields with many picnic tables, grill stations and benches.  The large grassy areas are great for playing sports. I like that even though it is a large park the playground area, picnic area and lake are not very far from each other.
