Pierson Park:
Tarrytown, NY

We went to the Scenic Hudson Park at Irvington, with bikes, hoping to enjoy a ride alongside the beautiful Hudson River. When we got there we were disappointed to see that bike riding is not allowed in the park. We decided to look for another park nearby to enjoy bike riding.

In the neighboring town of Irvington we visited the Pierson Park. A magnificent waterfront park with paths winding through beautiful fields. There is a playground and gazebo, picnic tables, as well as lookout points with beautiful views of the nearby marina, the new Tappan Zee Bridge and the Stony Point Lighthouse. The path alongside the river is great for biking or strolling. The park is quite new and well kept.  We really had a great time.
