After visiting the Historic Rail Park and Train Museum, we drove across the road to Roland Bland Park, to enjoy a picnic lunch and give the children some time at the playground. 

The almost-18-acre park in Downtown Bowling Green offers activities for all ages. There are basketball courts, a soccer field, volleyball court, tennis courts, skate park, grills, picnic tables and playgrounds.

The playgrounds have a new feel to them. In addition to regular playground equipment there are also interesting elements, such as a four person seesaw, a slide that is built into a hill, a xylophone , play houses and many more fun things to play on. We really had a great time at the park.
