Saratoga Springs:
New York

I was always intrigued by Saratoga’s natural springs. This spring we had time for a short two-day trip so we decided to visit Saratoga Springs.

In addition to the natural springs Saratoga Springs is famous for the large horse racing tracks there. When we visited it was not open yet for the summer season so we were unable to watch the horse races.

Our visit focused mostly on parks and some indoor activities. There is also a lake in the area with boating during the summertime.

Saratoga Springs is just a half hour drive from Lake George and is the closest steady minyan year-round (during the summertime there are temporary minyanim at Lake George.)

Chabad of Saratoga offers an option of ordering catered food. The Price Chopper on Central Avenue in Albany has a large Kosher Store in it (35 minutes away).

Information on Kosher food options can be found on this page: https://www.saratogachabad.com/food–catering.html

When we visited we rented a house on a quiet street through VRBO. We had a beautiful and relaxing visit to Saratoga Springs.
