Seneca Park:
Rochester, NY

Seneca Park is a 297-acre park in Rochester. Visitors are attracted to the large pond (more like a lake) with a paved walking path around it. There are many benches near the water and three picnic shelters with lots of tables and grill stations spilling over onto the nearby grass.  Many ducks and geese hang around the lake hoping to be fed.

The Seneca Park Zoo is located on the park grounds (fee to enter). Some of the animals can be see from outside the zoo gates. I highly recommend a visit to the zoo as it is enjoyable and not particularly expensive.
