I didn’t actually skydive at Skydive the Ranch (or at any other place) but I definitely enjoyed watching others take off in the airplane and then land in the field. Skydive the Ranch has a viewing area where you can watch the people take off and land. It is fascinating.

The only time I did not see people jump when I stopped there was when it was overcast or rainy outside. Skydive the Ranch is not far from Minnewaska State Park. It is a nice place to stop on the way.
