We needed to be in New Jersey in the late afternoon. It was an unseasonably warm day in the Spring. We decided to head to the Boardwalk at Spring Lake Beach to enjoy the water.

The 2-mile boardwalk is open all year round. It is a great place to take a walk and enjoy the fresh ocean breeze. Electric bikes are not allowed on the boardwalk. There are many benches along the way for those wanting to relax and steps leading down to the sand in a few places.

When we went it was too early in the season for swim hours although there were people playing in the sand and enjoying the beautiful weather.
