The large park,  boasting a lake with fountains in Passaic, NJ was exciting for our little boys. However, that was only part-two of our trip. The first part was an exciting train ride on the NJ Metro with a station just a two minute walk from the park.

The lake in the park is its most distinguishing feature. There is a boathouse café with outdoor seating adjacent to the water. There are walking paths with benches at intervals. The landscaping includes some areas of pretty flowers and many cherry blossom trees are in bloom in the spring. A little bit behind the lake is the playground and fields.
