Toronto Botanical Gardens:
Toronto, Ontario

Toronto Botanical Gardens is a beautifully designed 4 acre garden within the Don Valley Ravine. It’s a great place to stroll or to sit and enjoy the beauty of flowers and plants. Best of all, visiting the garden is free.  TBG offers various courses, garden tours and nature camp.  They pride themselves in being a garden education and information centre.

The TBG is located adjacent to the enormous Edwards Garden, a public garden owned by the city of Toronto, while TGB is volunteer-driven charity dedicated to disseminating horticultural and gardening information. TBG is currently working with the city of Toronto on merging with Edwards Garden and expanding their garden to the size of a globally acclaimed Botanical Garden.

TBG keeps up with the times. They constantly update their gardens. When we visited, they had many sculptures displayed throughout the gardens. The sculptures were actually for sale and the funds will be used for TBG to continue creating and designing the lovely impressive gardens.
