When we entered Urban Air in Hazlet, NJ we didn’t know where to look first.  The Spin Zone Bumping Cars, right near the check-in desk, with the two cars that have seats that can flip upside down caught our attention first. As we were watching the drivers enjoy the bumping and spinning we suddenly noticed someone flying above us.  And then we noticed the Sky Rider zip-line track. The sky rider is more like flying while strapped to a harness than the traditional zip-line. It’s fascinating to watch and our kids loved it!

Once we were checked in and received our Urban Air Socks we got to really check out the activities. We didn’t know which attraction to try first. Urban Air in Hazlet has all the top attractions, not the mediocre ones.

Near the Sky Rider is the Ropes Course (there is a minimum height of 48 inches for the Ropes Course and Sky Rider.

Below the Ropes Course is a toddler play area and near that is the Laser Tag Arena. I loved that there were bar stools (with a menu) and an open area where adults can watch the games in progress.

Urban Air would not be complete without the many trampoline courts and Ninja Warrior Course. There is a Dodgeball Trampoline Court, a Basketball Trampoline Court, The Runway (Tumble Track) Trampoline, The Apex Trampoline, and The Wipeout Trampoline challenge.

There was also a variety of fun climbing walls, a flash pad game, virtual reality and a Battle Beam Court. The little ones also enjoyed the Tubes Playground and Children’s Obstacle Course.

Our kids favorites were Laser Tag and the Spin Zone Bumping Cars which they kept trying again and again hoping to get one of the cars that can flip the person upside down.

After spending a fun few hours, it was difficult to get the children to leave. Everyone, both big and small, were enjoying themselves too much!
