Attitash Mountain Resort is not only a popular ski destination in the winter – during the summer months, it gets busy with visitors seeking adventure. On our recent trip to the White Mountains, we didn’t actually make it to visit the mountain since the adventure activities were closed this past summer season due to renovations (The resort was recently purchased by Vail Resorts).

When I visited the area as a teen, Attitash was on our list of places we knew we’d make time for.  We knew that we definitely wanted to ride the Alpine Slide. Since we’ve visited last, a zipline has been added.

The scenic chairlift rides up to the summit offers magnificent views of the surrounding mountains.
