I heard so much about the beauty the Interlaken area in Switzerland.  Interlaken itself is a busy resort town located in a narrow valley between the magnificent Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. Just driving around the lakes and stopping to enjoy the views is worthwhile. We watched people boating and at the side of the lake we saw paragliders landing.

We stopped at a quiet area to enjoy the views of the emerald color lake to enjoy some Swiss snacks we picked up at the nearby Megros Supermarket before continuing on to the nearby mountainous area of Wilderswil.
