Manara Cliff is a beautiful mountain with cable cars that offer magnificent far-reaching views of gorgeous landscapes all around. The eight passenger cable cars climb for ten minutes from the southern outskirts of Kiryat Shmona to Kibbutz Manara at the top of the Naftali ridge. Along the route there are three stations. At each station visitors can enjoy unique and varied attractions. Manara is famous for challenging sports and scenic hikes.
At the bottom station is access to the cable cars, and also bungee trampolines on weekends. There is also a 1,200 meter winding mountain slide. The cars can reach up to 40 km speed and is controlled by the ride. The slide can only be done in pairs. The middle station, The Extreme Cliff, offers rock climbing walls, and a bow and arrow shooting challenge. For the really brave there is the option of abseiling, climbing the cliffs while attached to a secure rope.
The Upper station offers a few hiking trails with varying levels. The Cliff Train is a 20 minute train ride which takes you through a guided tour with views of the Hula Valley, Lebanon and the surrounding mountains.
Manara is a great combination of nature and adventure
