We had such an incredible time with MYS Events on Shabbos Chanukah at the Greek Peak Resort. From adults to toddlers, we all enjoyed ourselves so thoroughly, that we couldn’t wait to book a stay at their Mid-Winter Retreat at the Katrite in Monticello, NY.

The Shabbos Chanukah Weekend was the perfect blend of family time, separate hours at the water park, activities and entertainment provided by MYS Events and some additional activities available on site at the resort.  Best of all, MYS Events are reasonably priced with so many extras thrown in.

The Resort is family friendly with large suites, including 2 and 3 bedroom suites. Each room or suite is equipped with a kitchenette including a large fridge and freezer. Guests had the option to bring their own food or order online and have it delivered to the Resort for a small fee. We registered too late to get one of the larger suites so we had two regular rooms near each other. The rooms are extremely comfortable and clean with a rustic yet updated feel. The table, chairs and décor revolved around a natural log look. Each room had a working fireplace which added a lot to the cozy atmosphere.

Mr. Schmidt of MYS Events is extremely generous. The program he put together included so much more than the price charged. There was a game show by the famous Boruch Perlowitz, Canvas Painting, Mosaic cookie decorating, a kumzitz with refreshments for the men Friday night, a kiddush Shabbos day, day camp for the children on Shabbos afternoon, a Motzei Shabbos juggling show and a music performance on Sunday.

The waterpark admission was included in the price with separate mens and women’s hours on Friday and on Sunday. Just outside the waterpark is an arcade room with many games.

Additional amenities and activity passes could be purchased  on-site for a special discounted price offered  to MYS guests including admission to the on -site Spa, Skiing, snow tubing, a mountain coaster and zipline tour.

We could not believe that we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy winter sports in New York right at the beginning of December.

We had such an incredible time at Greek Peak Resort with MYS Events-we can’t wait for more!
