Passerelle de Troistorrents:
Troistorrents, Switzerland

When we drove into Switzerland, we noticed a suspension bridge near Champery connecting the village of Troistorrents to Chenarlier. On our last day in the area, when many of the chairlifts closed for the season, we decided to visit the Champery area in Switzerland.

We found parking in a parking lot a bit up the road and made our way to the path across the Gallerie de la Tine. The beginning of the path was covered in wood chips and was adjacent to the indoor parking lot. We followed the path until we got to the suspension bridge.

The bridge is 185 meters long and 75 meters high. There is flowing water and a lot of foliage below. We even spotted a waterfall in the distance. We also enjoyed the views of the surrounding villages and distant mountains. We turned around and returned to our car after we’d crossed. We did not have time to explore other side of the bridge.
