While searching online for something unique to do in the Mont Tremblant area I came across The Sentier des cimes Laurentides-the 40-meter-tall panoramic tower (equivalent to 12 stories) with incredible views of the surrounding Laurentian mountain range as far as the eye can see.

The Treetop Walk and Panoramic Tower opened in July of 2022. We visited just after the first anniversary. The Treetop Walk is an incredible concept of a ramp-like path built at the height of the treetops. The walk starts with a smaller tower 25 meter high stories high. (That tower has an elevator). The ramp leading from the smaller tower to the panoramic tower is built on a consistent incline of 6 degrees. The incline is small and consistent that it is not strenuous but it takes you higher above the trees the whole time with. The walkway height reaches up to 18 meters. The total length of the walkway is 1,350 meters.  Since the walkway is in essence a ramp it is 100% accessible for families and people with special needs. Spread throughout the walkway are interesting fact tidbits and small activities for kids to enjoy. Children can also challenge themselves with the scavenger hunt offered.  

The Panoramic Tower has a circular ramp leading from floor to floor with open sides so that the views are open and unobstructed throughout the climb up. At the very top of the Panoramic Tower is a giant (really strong) hanging net in the center suspended 40 meters above the ground. The brave visitors get to walk on it and feel the thrill of being suspended high above the ground.

Once on top, the 360 degree views of the area and beyond are breathtaking. Mont-Tremblant and Mont-Blanc  are among the mountain peeks seen from the tower.  Sentier des cimes Laurentides is a unique experience enjoyed by young and old in our party. It was an original and fun way to enjoy the views all around.
