Whalebone Park:
Nags Head, NC

We planned on going fishing on Jeanettes Pier but since it was under construction we left to the Avalon Pier. As we were leaving the area we noticed the cute Whalebone Park about a block away from Jeanettes Pier.

The park has cute nautical themed climbing structures and whale tale shaped benches. There are a number of picnic tables under a roof called the Whalebone Pavilion. The park also has a volleyball and Bocce Court on site.
