Everglades Airboat Tour Deals & Discounts – Coopertown Adventure

There are so many Airboat Tour options in the Everglades. We looked on Groupon.com for a good deal. Coopertown Airboat Tour checked the boxes and so offered so much more. They have been around since 1945 and claim the title of being the “Original Air Boat Toar” in the Everglades.

Upon arriving to the Coopertown Airboat Tour location we checked in at the Tiki Style hut near the restaurant. We watched some lizards scurrying about and turtles hanging around in the water right near shore.

Once we checked in, we were shown to the back where we got an informative demonstration about alligators and we got to view them up close.  

When we were done we visited the Gift Shop until it was time to board the airboat. Right from the beginning our guide was very entertaining. He handed out noise blocking headphones since the airboat is very noisy.

We travelled through the “River of Grass” and got to see the unique eco system of the Everglades. Our guide pointed out the interesting trees and plants, the birds and other wildlife. We kept looking out for alligators and we were rewarded with seeing the back of one in the water. We passed it too quickly to take photos but it was very exciting to spot. We really enjoyed through nature. Just as we were heading back to our starting point it started raining. We were happy to get back to dry land and dry ourselves up.
