The Thriller Boat Ride is a great way to get out onto the Biscayne Bay and Atlantic Ocean and see the sites of Miami in an adrenalin pumping way. The Thriller Speedboat Tour departs from Bayside Marketplace in the busy and happening Downtown Miami area.

The 45-minute narrated boat tour offers views of the Miami Skyline, the celebrity mansions on Star Island, Fisher Island and see the Art Deco district of South Beach.

What makes the Thriller Speedboat Adventure unique is that it includes the fun aspect of speeding through the water at speeds of up to 40 MPH. (Children must be 3 years old and at least 36 inches tall to ride).

We boarded the Thriller for an epic ride. Once we left the dock and headed into the Ocean, the captain started the fun. He started speeding and swerving and the boat tilted upwards as it sped through the water.  I sat in the back row which tends to get splashed the most. Boy did I get wet! The people sitting in the front definitely did not get as wet.

As we approached the Islands the boat slowed and we were treated to an explanation of the magnificent celebrity mansions we were seeing. After continuing past the Art Deco District we returned back to the Bayside Marketplace where our thrilling ride came to an end.

I was soaked but I did not regret it for a minute. It sure was an exhilarating ride!
